Who is United Furniture?

United Furniture is a Chicago-based B2B wholesale furniture company that specializes in supplying retail furniture stores and resellers across the nation. Known for offering a wide range of high-quality furniture at competitive prices, United Furniture is a trusted partner for businesses seeking reliable, stylish, and affordable products.

Do you have a weekly delivery schedule?

Yes, we have a weekly delivery schedule for different regions:
  • Greater Chicago Area: Up to 50 miles from our warehouse location. Every Monday. The delivery charge is $75 fixed rate.
  • Ohio and nearby regions: Every Tuesday and Friday. The minimum order amount is $1,500, and the delivery charge is 10% of the order.
  • Missouri and nearby regions: Every Wednesday. The minimum order amount is $1,500, and the delivery charge is 10% of the order.
  • Michigan and nearby regions: Every Thursday. The minimum order amount is $1,500, and the delivery charge is 10% of the order.
  • Wisconsin and nearby regions: Every Saturday. The minimum order amount is $1,500, and the delivery charge is 5% of the order.

Do you deliver to other areas outside of the delivery areas?

Yes, we deliver nationwide using third-party trucking companies at current market rates. We strive to get you the best rate possible to help you save. The delivery service depends on the order size and volume:

  • Smaller orders are delivered via LTL (Less Than Truckload) services.
  • Larger orders are preferred to use full trucking services, from 26 ft trucks to 53 ft trucks.

Is there a warranty on the products?

Yes, there is a manufacturer’s warranty covering factory defects. Customers are encouraged to inspect their products upon pickup or receipt of delivery and inform us of any damage immediately. We do not offer warranty coverage for damage caused by product handling by your delivery team or damages incurred by your end customer.

Can I return or exchange items?

Yes, returns or exchanges are allowed within 14 days upon receipt of the goods. The original packaging is required, and a 25% restocking fee will apply.

Are there any items that cannot be returned or exchanged?

No returns or exchanges are accepted for goods that have been assembled, displayed, or damaged. Floor samples and "as-is" items are also non-returnable.

Are delivery fees refundable?

No, delivery fees are non-refundable.

What are the accepted methods of payments?

We accept cash, ACH, wire transfers, business credit cards or debit cards, and Zelle payments, which can be made to zelle@ufimport.com

What happens if my check is returned?

The returned amount becomes due immediately and must be paid in cash or via Zelle, with a $35 bank charge applied for each returned check and a $50 charge starting from the fourth returned check.

What happens if my account is past due?

If your account becomes past due and escalates to collections or legal action, you will be responsible for paying all interest, costs, expenses, and attorneys' fees as outlined in our signed credit application contract.

Is there a surcharge for credit card transactions?

Yes, a 3% surcharge applies to credit or debit card transactions, and a 3.5% surcharge applies for American Express.
